Titan TMG's initial design for vertical turning and boring mills was developed in accordance with Morando documentation. During the 1970's, agreements to purchase documentation from Japanese and, then, Czechoslovakian companies provided background for the development and manufacture of complex machine tools with maximum machining diameters to 630 inches (16 Meters) and allowable workpiece weight to 440 tons.Continued development led to a new generation of Titan TMG verticals. Machines that many would view as CNC machining centers, thanks to the multitude of operations that they can perform and to the attachments and accessories available, including automatic tool changing, tool wear and workpiece measuring devices, automatic clamping, and palletization systems.

Table sizes range from 33 to 630 inches (0.8 to 16 meters). Each size is available in several height versions.
